Challenge at Feeling Scrappy...and (finally!) a new page

There is a fun new challenge going on at Feeling Scrappy that you should check out! The lucky winner will receive the Year of Cheer card class for free! Not too shabby, huh? (This is one class you certainly won't want to miss. Stacey has tons of fun stuff in store, and once the class is complete, you will have built up and organized your card stash to get you through an entire year! Isn't that terrific?)

Here is the page I finished for the challenge, the theme of which is winter/ice/etc. This was a tough one for me, since we live in the South and neither of the kiddos has ever laid eyes on more than a fraction of an inch of snow. So I opted to get creative. :o) I really need to get back on the scrapping wagon. This is one of three pages total that I finished this month. Isn't that sad? There is just so much going on with various commitments. I'm ready to get back into the swing of things!

99% of the supplies here are from various Scarlet Lime kits. I am seriously obsessed with the stickers I used for the title work and journaling on this page. The black alpha stickers are Scenic Route, and they are perfect for just about any project you can imagine, and the tiny little brown and white alpha stickers are so addicting (they are Carolee's Creations). I find myself wanting to use them on everything!

Journaling reads: On this crisp January afternoon, it was all about

tricycles for icicles
scooting for sledding
rubber balls for snowballs

Even though I do crave a dusting of white every now and then, I have to say that I just love being...
South for the Winter

Thanks for popping in!
A.

Amy, Love this LO. The colours and the design... Also, I don't think I have ever thought about making a LO substitutes.

Good luck with the challenge!
